The End of an ERA

I watched today's episode in complete disbelief. THE QUEEN, STEPHANIE FORRESTER IS GONE. Seriously, it was like watching my G.G. die all over again. Very heart wrenching. Lots of people were highly upset at the fact that Queen had her last moments with Brooke. I have mixed emotions about that.

I like the fact that Bell had Stephanie and Brooke come full circle. For them to admit that they hurt each other, and pretty much let bygones, be bygones is great. Stephanie handing Brooke her ring was great. I like the fact that Brooke acknowledged that it should've went to one of her daughters, but Queen insisted. That was a beautiful moment. What would've been fab is if Eric would've left the meeting and went straight to cabin, instead of hanging out watching a goodbye DVD. WTF BELL? John McCook and Susan Flannery were the core couple who started the whole damn show, for them not to have the last moment, I just don't understand. Nevertheless, Katherine Kelly Lang and Susan Flannery delivered a stellar performance. STELLAR. It would've been nice to see Ashley Jones (Bridget, Adrienne Frantz (Amber), RJ or ALLY (Stephanie's grandchildren) make an appearance or maybe a Queen and Ridge montage, but hey...I'm just a fan. I don't write the scripts.

Heather Tom and Hunter Tylo (Katie and Taylor) are really knocking it out of the park with this PPD storyline. I like the fact that they acknowledged the fact that Taylor suffered through PPD as well. Heather's performance was phenomenal. Really had me feeling for her. Taylor is much more tolerable when she's trying to help someone rather than pointing her finger in Brooke's face, or just prancing around Forrester doing nothing. Let's keep this Taylor around. 

I've really enjoyed BOLD for the past few weeks. The adults have been delivering outstanding performances. In my opinion, the views want to see realistic story lines. For example, texting while driving was a great storyline. The PPD storyline was brilliant. Not too many people are aware of the illness. Cancer storyline was brilliant. I've seen spoilers around talking about LEFFY/LOPE. DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN PLEASE DON'T PUT US THROUGH THE TORTURE. NEWSFLASH MR. BELL, NO ONE LIKES OR CARES ABOUT THIS TRIANGLE. IT PROBABLY COULD'VE WORKED IF IT WAS WRITTEN LIKE BRIDGE/TRIDGE OR IF IT WASN'T SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS EVERY F***ING DAY.

Once again BRAVO to Susan Flannery and Katherine Kelly Lang for the best 25 years of love, hate and the best slaps on daytime television.

All hail the QUEEN.

No Queen, No BOLD

Well...it's happening. Susan Flannery aka Queen Stephanie Forrester is leaving. The core of the "fab 4" is out. Will bold be able to survive? NO.

Just watching today's episode was heartbreaking. Supposedly, all the people who loved the queen were in attendance. I know Katie (Heather Tom) was absent because she's on maternity leave..but how about the absence of Bridget, Amber, Nick, Jackie, Ally, Dominic, Zende, Logan and of course RIDGE? I mean damn. We all know that RM has issues with TPTB, they could've at least done a one sided conversation phone call.

IMHO, I think that this show will tank without the Queen. As much as I love the love/hate relationship between Brooke and Taylor, Nothing can carry the show like the Queen. She is the heart and soul of b&b. It's just not going to be the same.

How about an alternative ending?

Queen and Eric retire. Pam meets up with Steven in Dallas and reunites. Donna and Justin get back together. Steffy and Hope open their eyes and realize that Liam ain't shit. They both dump him and start rebuilding their step-sister relationship. Have these beautiful girls be role models for other girls showing that the world doesn't revolve around a man. Rick and Thomas learn and know their place at Forrester. (WHICH IS NOT C.E.O) Give Sally Spectra the proper memorial she deserves. Have Nick and Bridget get back together.  (I still have no idea why they broke up, Nick has cheated on Bridget so many times before..) Give us some closure with Jackie and Owen. Oh yeah...Where is Massimo? Have Amber take over Jackie M, name it Ambrosia and start a fashion house. Just a few thoughts.

What happend to The Bold and the Beautiful?

Hey Everyone!! I've been very busy lately with getting back to work/school, and planning a wedding, I haven't had much time to blog. The last few weeks have been insane. First, Ronn Moss decides NOT to renew his contract, sighting payroll differences. Then, the queen herself, Susan Flannery opts NOT to renew as well. Instead, she signs a short term contract so Brad Bell has time to give her a proper send off. Look at what's happening. Veterans. People who have been on the show since act 1 scene one are being pushed aside, tossed under the rug. For what??? LEFFY/LOPE!

For the past year, viewers have been forced to watch this train wreck of a triangle. NEWSFLASH...NO ONE LIKES, OR CARES ABOUT THIS TRIANGLE. WE WANT IT DEAD AND GONE! NO ONE WANTS TO SEE BRIDGE/TRIDGE 2.0. We had to deal with that triangle for 20 years. No need to reinvent the wheel.

What THIS viewer would like to see is more stories from the 90s and early 2000s. I mean, I remember a time, tuning into B&B, and you had something called MULTIPLE STORYLINES. It was refreshing. Not only did you see Ridge/Brooke/Taylor..but you also saw other characters like James, Sheila, Thorne and Macy. All in the same show. I guess the whole point of this rant is......UTILIZE ALL CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW, BUT DON'T BASE THEM AROUND THE SAME F**KING STORYLINE. I'm tired of seeing veteran characters demoted to this farce of a triangle. I guess the vets are tired of it as well. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't have opted out of the show.

I know that Ridge's departure will be open ended. So I'm thinking that he'll probably have to handle a crisis at Forrester International. I just don't see them killing Ridge off. Queenie, on the other hand, is a whole other story. Stephanie's cancer fatally return. Towards the end, you see Stephanie trying to get her house in order and give her a grand exit. If BBell wants another emmy nom, I would go that route. Or you could have her go off and spend time with her homegirl, Sally.

I don't know. I've been a faithful viewer of B&B since it's debut. I honestly don't remember a time this show was THIS awful. I understand that Brad Bell wanted to try and hook new viewers with LEFFY/LOPE. He did. My 4th grader was talking with one of her friends about Liam, Hope and Steffy. Since she was off for the summer, she and her mom watched B&B. Congratulations Bell. You gained new, young, viewers. Guess what??? Most of those viewers are back to school now. Get back to good story writing and leave this wanna be Beverly Hills, 90210 type triangle (90210 triangles were much better) alone. JUST GET BACK TO BASICS.

Finally, a realistic storyline

This storyline is probably the most realistic ones in daytime today. Texting and driving is something that most of us, including myself, are guilty of doing. I think that Texas Battle, and all the other players involved are doing a fantastic job with this storyline. I hope it doesn't just fade away in the background just to have LEFFY/LOPE shoved down our throats. Nothing against the actors who portray these characters, I, along with at least 90% of the world who watches b&b are just sick and tired of this annoying equilateral triangle.

Back to the texting and driving. Yes, Marcus f**ked up by texting and driving and not telling lieutenant   dumb and dumber exactly how the accident happened. He did however, stop, called 911 and stayed with Anthony in the hospital. I get why Anthony is upset. Hell, I'd be pissed if someone hit me or a loved one with a car. The thing is, Marcus didn't pull a Taylor. He admitted straight up that he hit the man. He might have kept a few details out of the entire incident, but at least he didn't tell a BOLD FACE LIE.

Unfortunately, Marcus should've told the entire truth about that fateful night. I know he was scared but damn. Marcus's father is Justin Barber, hotshot attorney. His 2nd adoptive family are Forresters. They get away with pretty much anything due to their name.

I'm not saying that Marcus doesn't deserve to have some kind of punishment. He does. To "throw the book" at him just because he left the hospital to go get married, I think that's a bit much. His license should be suspended. Community service is a must. Serious jail time, IDK. He doesn't have a record, drug or alcohol problem. Let's see where Bell wants to take this storyline.

Marcus hit the wrong man!!! Should've been LIAM!

I knew that Marcus would have an accident. I didn't expect him to hit poor Anthony. Anthony told Dayzee that she wouldn't have to know what life would be like without him in it. In b&b code..that means Anthony is a goner. Tsk Tsk Marcus..you know you shouldn't TEXT and DRIVE. I still think that there's more to this story. Please don't tell me Marcus is gonna pull a Taylor and lie about his part in the accident. Dear god in heaven..don't do it!!

Hope and Steffy put on their big girl panties today and handled the Liam situation quite well. Hope didn't fall apart like Steffy expected her to. She even came up with little snappy comebacks to her "wicked" turned "good girl" step-sister.  Great job. I wonder how Hope will handle it she sees the video? Will she pop another pill? Better yet, will she do the right thing and leave the fool once and for all?

The writers have been getting pretty slick lately. Taylor had a fanatastic line earlier this week about seeing Thorne in the dungeon. Today, Donna said that she was going to visit her father in DALLAS. (Stephen Logan- Patrick Duffy has reprised his role as Bobby Ewing on Dallas 2.0) Then go on a cruise. Maternity leave time for Jennifer Gareis.

Ok peeps..I've been off for a while now. Lot's going on. School year is finally over, planning a wedding, trying to purchase a house...blah blah blah..Now that's summer is finally here, I'll be blogging more often..with that being said...HERE WE GO.

HOW THE HELL IS IT DEACON'S FAULT THAT HOPE'S LIFE IS IN CHAOS?? THAT TITLE BELONGS TO BILL. DEACON HASN'T BEEN AROUND. STOP BLAMING THAT HOT PIECE OF ASS.

For all of you STILL fans out there..I really admire you. It's cool that you all are STILL fighting for something that has been dead and buried for a long time. Bill has made it abundantly clear, that he LOVES HIS WIFE. He wants Liam to be happy. He thinks that Hope is a complete disaster for his son..he thinks that STEFFY or ANYONE ELSE compliments him. That means..HE DOESN'T WANT STEFFY. Please..just move on..Brad Bell is pushing for the new BRIDGE/TRIDGE..which leads me to........

LEFFY/LOPE. Ah YES..Leffy/Lope the never ending saga of sisters fighting over a complete jackass. Kinda reminds me of Brenda and Kelly on BH, 90210 fighting over Dylan..but dare I actually compare a classic story with this riff raff. Let me tell you how this ish will go down. Liam will marry Hope. All will be fine. Then he finds out that Steffy had an accident...through some magical telepathic powers, he finds her..they make love..Steffy winds up preggers..and Liam is forced to man up and tell Hope he's the dirty scumbag that we viewers all know that he is. OR....Deacon..with his fine ass..finds Steffy..saves her from nearly drowning (again) and she falls in love with HIM driving the dressmaker and Brooke insane. BWAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA..NOW THAT WOULD BE HOT.

My baby Marcus finally got some screen time.. (YAAAY) Watch Marcus remember that he is a LOGAN by blood and inform his pregnant Auntie Katie about her hubby's shenanigans. Bill will finally get his priorities straight and focus on his WIFE and UNBORN CHILD.  I also can't wait to see what shenanigans my girl Amber has up her sleeve. Watch out Daisy.

Anyone else missing Caroline 2.0 and Thomas?? me either..They bore me. No offense to the actors or anything.. I just don't see the chemistry between them. Caroline and Rick..maybe..not Carmas...no can do.

Who else is pissed that Brad Bell has a powerhouse like Crystal Chappell on his show and she isn't being utilized??? This has potential to be a fantastic storyline..but yet again..LEFFY/LOPE wins..

OH YEAH..I SEE A LOT OF CRAP ON FB BOARDS...PEOPLE COMPLAINING THAT IT'S THE HOPE LOGAN SHOW...GMAFB..YOU ALL DAMN WELL KNOW THAT SHOW NOW REVOLVES AROUND HOPE, LIAM AND STEFFY. I REALLY WISH PEOPLE WOULD SEE THAT.

Will the real Hope Logan and Steffy Forrester please stand up?!

Ok. Last time I blogged, I was extremely excited for Caroline 2.0 to appear on the scene. Then she appeared. They make her seem like some kind of goddess or something. Yes, she's cute, but she's not all that. She's kinda boring. I personally, don't care who she ends up with.

Liam tells everyone he doesn't like secrets. SO IT'S OK FOR HIM TO RIP UP ANNULMENT PAPERS, KISS STEFFY AND NOT TELL HOPE? REALLY?? And people call Hope a hypocrite!

It's seems that Steffy's latest accident made her have an euphony. This "vicious" cycle has to stop. I couldn't agree more Steffy. It is crystal clear that writers are trying to recreate BRIDGE/TRIDGE. I'm sorry, this Saved by the Bell triangle is not working. I don't like it. I HATE LIAM. He's a waffler.

I'm starting to hate Hope because she can't see what a jackass he really is. He gave away her ring to her arch enemy 5 min after she took it off. No explanations. NOTHING. AND SHE STILL WANTS HIM?

I hate Steffy for several reasons. OF course for trying to be a home wrecker to Bill and Katie..Yes I know it takes two to tango, but she's calling Hope an adulteress, yet she was doing the same thing 9 months ago. She also took another woman's engagement ring, had no issues with putting it on and wearing it with pride. How pathetic is that??? and for who???? LIAM SPENCER!!

I CAN'T SEE WHY THESE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS ARE WASTING THEIR LIVES AWAY CHASING THIS BABOON. I WISH THESE GIRLS WOULD JUST WAKE UP. SEE THAT LIAM ISN'T WORTH S**T. HE'S A PUNK A** B**CH!. AND NEEDS TO JUST DISAPPEAR. FOREVER!

I am, however, very excited to see how Katie's pregnancy will come into play. I'm excited to see Bill and Katie deal with their own issues instead of being involved with the kids.

Crystal Chappel coming on board is FANTASTIC. She is a phenomenal actress. I hope that BBELL doesn't waste her like other talents i.e.: Lesli Kay, Winsor Harmon, Maura West (Y&R), Ashley Jones, so much more I can't even begin to say.

Enter Caroline Spencer 2.0

Well, well, well...We got new blood in L.A. Caroline Spencer, named after her late aunt, Caroline Spencer Forrester, has arrived.  I like the fact that they're developing the Spencer family again. Reminds me of the good 'ol days. It seems like we have a new triangle or should I say quadrilateral on our hands..Rick/Caroline/Thomas/Amber..I see the writing on the wall. How do I feel about it? I'm not so sure. I'm just asking for this quadrilateral into a septagon. (a polygon that has 7 sides)

For the past few months, we've been dealing with Leffy/Lope. The fact that we have new people on screen, I'm very happy about. With this new quad..it's painfully clear that the powers that be are pushing the new generation on us viewers.

I understand where the writers are coming from. I really do. You have great looking young people, their trying to appeal to the younger demographics. I just wish that we could have the newbies in segments, and not just shoved down our throat every day. How about showing the kids every other day?

I must say, the 2 DAYS we didn't have Leffy/Lope..I enjoyed the show a great deal.

Here's the thing, you have great actors that aren't being utilized. Where is the send off for Owen and Jackie? Since Nick is leaving..bring back Bridget so she and Nick can sail off into the sunset. Have Felicia have a relapse in her cancer. Or here's an idea..AGE ALLY AND MAYBE EVEN R.J. Have Ally give her dad HELL for hooking up with the woman who ran down her mother and lied about it!!! That would finally give Winsor Harmon a juicy storyline.

So how bout it writers? Give us the newbies in doses..and utilize characters that are wasting away?

HOPE- I'm still wondering why you would want to give yourself to the man who gave your engagement ring to another woman 5 min after you took the ring off. Your sweat was still on the ring HOPE!!

And if Liam LOVES you sooooo much...he should respect your decision to remain abstinent until marriage. Hell, both of you were dating for a year, 6 months should be a walk in the park for you. Yes, I understand that Steffy is partially to blame for this, but please make sure you cast some of this blame to  yourself. No one told you to go and RUN your mouth about your personal business. Ok. FINE so you did...must you go around telling everyone you decided to have sex now? HOPE..STOP letting everyone else in your relationship. IT'S none of their business. Not your "fans" for H.F.T.F or your family..It's yours. and yours alone. In a nutshell..Liam ain't ish..Get yourself someone who respects you and someone who won't TRY you the way this fool did.

STEFFY- *SMH*  I get that you think you're in love with his idiot. FINE. And as much as I don't like you, I'm gonna say that Liam doesn't deserve you either. You need to find someone who is you're equal. Someone who is conniving, smart, good-looking and AVAILABLE...I know just the person...ERIC (RICK) FORRESTER II. (actually, I want Kyle Lowder, but I guess Jacob Young's RICK would do fine). You guys had a great thing before...(when I actually liked you). You could have it again. Open your eyes and get rid of rat boy.

Double Date

I wasn't really impressed with today's episode. I did love the BATIE interaction today before the "double date." I thought they were really cute. Bridge was also cute today as well. It just baffles me that these people have absolutely nothing else to talk about than their children and their children's love lives. I mean really? C'mon. The dislike between Ridge and Bill was actually a bit comical. Bill's comment to Brooke about her not waiting until marriage was a bit comical as well.

Now let's get down to the STEFFY, HOPE and LIAM show... YAAAAAAAAAAAY!! (PURE SARCASM) For real..I really don't have much to say about this..I'm over it and I'm sure a lot of you BOLD lovers are as well.

Hope- PLEASE FIND SOMEONE WHO WONT DISRESPECT YOU THE WAY LIAM DID. IT REALLY TRIPS ME OUT THAT YOU'RE STILL HUNG UP ON A DUDE THAT TRIED YOU THE WAY HE DID. HERE'S AN IDEA..GIVE OLIVER A CALL. Hope- I still don't like the fact that you are hung up on this joker. He didn't waste anytime giving Steffy YOUR engagement ring 5 seconds after you took it off. Why would you want to be with someone like that?? AND...... Really Hope if you wanted to have sex with Liam, that's your business. You don't have to tell the whole world about it. THE ONLY THING..that you got cool points for was slapping Steffy across her face. I don't care what the Steffy fans say...Hope slapped her. Steffy- Hook up with Rick. He's closer to your age. He's wicked, devious, much more your speed. YEAH..I'M TEAM STRICK. I can't wait for Amber and Steffy to throw down. Amber's from the wrong side of the tracks..a b**ch can throw down. Watch out Steffy.

Katie- STOP..I repeat STOP this vendetta against Steffy. Please focus on repairing your marriage to BILL. 

Brooke- I know you're trying to do right by your daughter, but you're starting to sound like Stephanie. Just focus on Ridge and stay out of their business. Same goes to Ridge, Taylor, Bill, Katie..and anyone else I forgot.
